It is said that Africa is about 200 years behind the industrialized nations, in other words, if Ghana as a nation doesn't not speed up in the development of its human resource, we wouldn't not just be marking time, but will eventually retrogress in the dark ages. Only about 30% of people who qualify from our high schools gain admission into the existent public universities. This introduces a huge challenge to this generation, and others yet unborn.

This challenge is that which inspired the birth of our university. However, barely a year after graduating, its premier class CUC has fast outgrown its present home and facilities. In response to this need, the International Central Gospel Church has acquired an excellent site to be developed as a permanent campus for the university. To ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget, ICGC and CUC needs the partnership of like-minded visionary who would stand with a chancellor of the university Dr. Otabil to build for the future.

Whilst many decry the moral decadence and permissiveness of the society, we believe we can rebuild the nation's moral strength with a positive Christ-centered education. Our university has a vision to produce African statesmen who shine as stars in the midst of crooked and perverse generation.
